Bolodi

Nigeria’s Igbo tribe call the original fabric that inspired this design mgbolodi, which means "roots". Historically, plant roots are known to be highly medicinal and may be used to cure ailments. Metaphorically, it is said that when the fabric is worn or owned it can bring wealth, healing, and success to the owner or their family.
